Join us for a week-long journey into the art of leather figure carving, perfect for beginners eager to explore this timeless craft. Held at the beautiful John C. Campbell Folk School, this class will guide you through the fundamentals of tooling realistic designs on leather, including birds, animals, flowers, and more.
What You’ll Learn:

- Thought processes and tips for producing realistic and detailed carvings.
What You’ll Make:
Practice your new skills by crafting key fobs, coasters, patches, and other small projects. Once confident, you’ll cut, tool, and assemble a purse or belt bag, featuring a design of your choice!
What’s Provided:
All tools, patterns, leather, and step-by-step instructions will be supplied, so you can focus on learning and creating. Samples and patterns will be available to inspire and guide your work.
