The moose, brought to life with delicate details, is complemented by iridescent turkey feathers that add an elegant flair. Framed in reclaimed oak from an old barn and backed with rich black pigskin, this artwork combines natural beauty and rustic charm.

The Inspiration:
The first moose we ever saw in Jackson Hole was a family of three casually snacking on trees in the park beside the Visitors Center. Over time, we’ve encountered them in the most unexpected places—huge bulls resting in front yards, a cow and calf seeking shade under backyard trees, and moose splashing through creeks right outside our room. Their presence is both majestic and unpredictable, making every sighting a memorable surprise and the inspiration for this piece.

The first time we saw moose in Jackson Hole was of a family of three snacking on some trees in the park right beside the Visitors Center as you enter the town. We’ve seen huge bulls resting in folk’s front yards and a cow and her calf seeking shelter from the sun under some trees in someone’s back yard. We’ve seen them running through the creek right outside our room and also enjoying the taste of willows along the creekbed. You never know where you might see them!
