The memory of this piece comes from a breathtaking moment my wife and I experienced while hiking in the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania. We were on the ridgeline, gazing down into the sprawling forested valley below, when we spotted an eagle gliding effortlessly through the air. The incredible part was that it was riding the air currents beneath us, allowing us to look down on it as it soared. How often do you get to witness an eagle from such a unique perspective?
